We are looking for a Salesforce Architect to lead the design and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The architect will be responsible for ensuring best practices are followed for API architecture, managing the full lifecycle of APIs, and ensuring the scalability and performance of Urban Infrastructure technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and deep expertise in MuleSoft and integration architectures.

Job description

• Lead the design and architecture of API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft

• Define the integration architecture, including APIs, security, data flows, and connectivity requirements

• Work closely with project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Develop and maintain reusable API frameworks and integration patterns

• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of MuleSoft solutions

• Guide and mentor development teams, ensuring best practices in API development and MuleSoft configurations

• Implement security standards such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT for secure API integrations

• Lead code reviews, testing, and performance tuning

• Provide guidance on troubleshooting complex integration issues and root cause analysis

• Collaborate with other architects and technical leads on the overall enterprise architecture strategy

• Prepare documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical reports for leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration solutions

• Strong experience in API-led architecture and microservices design

• Proven track record of leading integration projects and managing development teams

• Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Mule 3/4, RAML, DataWeave, and API Manager

• Experience integrating systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise solutions

• Excellent understanding of integration patterns, enterprise service bus (ESB), and event-driven architecture

• Proficient in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline automation

• Nice to have: MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and multi-cloud integration strategies

• Knowledge of other integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, TIBCO)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities effectivel
